Based on the ‘Main Lines Agreement Water Purification in Dutch Greenhouse Horticulture’, the water purification obligation (≥95%) applies to drainage water for substrate cultivation, drainage water for soil-based cultivation and filter rinse water (if rinsed with drainage water or fertilized irrigation water). If (chemical) crop protection agents are used, these must be removed from the water to be discharged by at least 95%.
