Solar Boilers

A solar boiler system consists of solar collectors (placed on the roof), a solar boiler, a pump system to heat the solar boiler from the solar collectors and a control computer. With sufficient outside light, the solar collectors heat the water in the solar boiler via their own circuit with internal heat exchanger. The solar boiler circuit is filled with an environmentally friendly liquid that cannot freeze. The heated water can be used as tap water. This tap water is heated in the solar boiler by a stainless steel tap water coil. This is a legionella-free heating of the tap water. If the tap water temperature from the solar boiler is too low, it is possible that it is reheated by an external heat source. For the CV support, if the temperature in the solar boiler is sufficient, the return water from the CV must be lower than the temperature in the solar boiler, the return water from the CV system is (pre)heated. When the CV water temperature from the solar boiler is too low, it is reheated by an external heat source.

The solar boiler system is controlled by a supplied autonomous control computer with display and operation. However, if a solar boiler system is integrated into an energy system, for example in combination with a heat pump, the entire system is controlled by the Buitelaar Energy Control Box. This energy management system controls the various energy systems, which ensures maximum efficiency.

A solar boiler system with CV support can certainly achieve a saving of 60% per year.
