Heat Pumps
A heat pump extracts heat from the air, the soil or groundwater. A heat pump uses electricity for this, but much less than with direct electric heating. The operation of a heat pump can be compared to a reverse refrigerator. Instead of removing heat, a heat pump extracts heat from outside to inside.
A heat pump can provide a central heating system with hot water. So as a replacement for a central heating boiler. However, the central heating system must be a low-temperature system. This is usually an underfloor heating system. For the tap water, additional heating is usually required.
A good solution is a heat pump in combination with a solar boiler system. Initially, the solar boiler is heated by the solar collectors that are placed on the roof. If this does not provide enough heat, the heat pump can supplement this by also heating the solar boiler.
When there are multiple energy systems in an installation, a Buitelaar EnergyControlBox can be used. This energy management system controls the various energy systems so that maximum efficiency can be achieved.
BHP series SMRT Heat pumps
High temperatures possible due to R290 refrigerant refrigerant
BHP series SMRT heat pumps are a new generation of energy-efficient heat pumps with the ozone-layer neutral refrigerant propane (R290). High-quality technology achieves optimum efficiency from power. These heat pumps meet the strictest European environmental standards and meet the highest COP standard in the market with our A+++ energy label. Partly because of this, this heat pump has the highest government subsidy.
BHP series SMRT heat pumps can heat water up to a temperature of 75 degrees Celsius. This eliminates many restrictions. Due to these higher temperatures, hot tap water can be prepared with this BHP series SMRT heat pump and underfloor heating is not necessary.

BHP series YT Heat Pumps
All-in-one heat pump
The BHP series YT heat pump system is an indoor heat pump all-in-one system. This means that the heat pump, storage tank and control are included in one housing. The BHP series YT heat pump system is installed indoors. Due to this all-in-one concept, minimal piping is required. Outside air supply and outside air exhaust are connected to the system via pipes. Furthermore, no frost protection is required.
The BHP series YT heat pump system with R290 refrigerant is equipped with an additional heating coil. This allows the storage tank to be heated by solar heat with a zone collector and the heat pump does not have to be put into operation. The system is also equipped with an electric heating element. For example, the built-in electric heating element can be switched on in the event of high heat demand or low energy prices. The BHP series YT heat pump system can heat (tap) water up to a temperature of 75 degrees Celsius. This eliminates many restrictions.All-in-one heat pump
